Hunting Positive

I am curating an exhibition with the title "Hunting Positive". Andrew Cuomo used those two words in a press conference. They were powerful words. I couldn't let them go. He was referring to the exhausting task of finding Covid Positive people to isolate them and slow the pandemic in NYC. It was a curious concept to me. I don't typically put "hunting" and "positive" together. And he was not looking for something positive at all. In fact, he was searching for sick people. The resulting exhibition, opening at the Chocolate Church Arts Center in Bath, ME on Oct 17th, is a show of female artists and writers discussing their own take on this idea.
